September, 2011 marked the beginning of construction on the new, Mining for Miracles-funded Child and Family Imagine Facility. The state-of-the-art Facility will be one of only a few research-dedicated pediatric MRIs in Canada.
A new high-level containment lab, funded by Mining for Miracles went “hot” in July, 2011. The lab will be studying organisms that can cause lethal infections.
